	With regard to Peter’s question on a metadata system to catalog MC data for ECCE, we have been in contact with Maxim Potekhin who was suggesting a “self-describing data” approach which has been successfully used in the protoDUNE experiment, where each data file is accompanied by a small descriptor (JSON or YAML) which contains metadata. This allowed for a lot of automatization, and according to Maxim is low cost, efficient, flexible and “noSQL-uesque”.
