Conformal symmetry plays an important role in field theory and statistical physics. We review a nonrelativistic version of conformal symmetry, also called Schrödinger symmetry, and the properties of nonrelativistic conformal field theories. We show how the nonrelativistic conformal symmetry exhibits itself in various physical systems. In particular, we will consider the example of "unnuclear physics," where the conformal dimensions of primary operators in an interacting nonrelativistic CFT determines the behavior of differential cross sections of nuclear reactions involving several neutrons in the final state.
