The meeting minutes:

1,  EIC tracking interests by the China Consortium, Yuxiang Zhao:

Present the simulation studies of detector performance and material budgets on the all-si tracker design within the fairroot framework. Recommended to move to the fun4all framework and plan to do so. Will work on the MPGD tracker in the endcap regions.

Expressed the hardware interests in ITS-3 and MPGD tracker, asked to specify the kinematic coverage in electron endcap, barrel or hadron endocarp. Will contribute to the electronics and expect to provide in-kind contributions.

2, LGAD based ToF by Wei Li:

Present the recent simulation studies and detector layout for the LGAD based ToF, which can be used as an outer tracker. The current detector can reach around 30 micron spatial resolution with 500 micron AC-LGAD sensor. This detector can provide better coverage and provide further constraints in track reconstruction within high pseudorapidity regions.

Considering the cooling material budgets, Wei present material budgets of the current cooling option used by CMS/ATLAS: 6mm Al plate. This supporting structure is not expected to impact the tracking performance but may have impacts on the calorimeter or the other sub-systems behind the ToF. Will carry out further studies with different cooling structures/materials in simulation.

The analysis module is TTL in Fun4All. For simulation related questions, please contact Friederike and Shuai.

We also have discussed the locations of the ToF and integration with the other detector sub-systems.
