  • A question was asked on the status of Overleaf - overall, stuck in procurement, BNL has its own rules and imposes on vendors. For most private compagnies, what BNL ask is not possible so, the usual mechanism is to go through a 3rd party reseller. We are at this phase (search for a third party reseller and Overleaf trying to understand how to work with them).
  • We discussed having several members of ECCE (non-BNL employees) having full access to zoom.
Discussed with ITD and a process / procedure is supposed to be defined. Only 300 licenses are left though, would have to be a limited number of folks. Asked for cost per user in case EIC wants to pay.
  • Resources / additional storage. Process seems fairly stalled. No move until we get further justifications (but on ATHENA side). Some thoughts floating that ECCE numbers may not be accurate (from the usual suspect) but still defending the overall summary (until new numbers or knowledge appears)
  • There is a request to install "mc" in CVMFS.
Status report: cannot install in the ECCE path because the whole tree belongs to phnxbld and no-one else can install. General idea was to install elsewhere. Will follow-up with Joe Osborn.
  • We discussed we will need to provide a Web interface to show the disk space usage by all proto-collaboration. Jerome will speak to Graham offline. Same for CPU usage (a scheme will need to be defined). All information would be available from a Web site.
  • Access to ECCE meetings
Status: done (Jerome can create meetings)
  • Representative from ECCE on the ECCG (this is an ECCE internal discussion)
  • S3+OSG - David reported that he discussed with Pascalis. S3 interaction would need to be handled on our end (gridftp is the default transfer and/or the Condor transfer).
  • Past items - Mattermost/Discourse additional modules installed but not configured (how does ECCE want this to be configured especially the creation of new topics sent automatically to Mattermost?). To be decided.
