Michael reviewed a recent presentation by Vaclav Vacek of Prague about cooling for Roman Pots. His group has worked on both the AFP and TOTEM Roman pots at the LHC. Several methods are possible, two phase CO2, evaporation of florocarbons and interestingly high velocity compressed air vortex. Each of these systems is actually being used.
Michael is trying to arrange a meeting with Vaclav and will ask him if he might consider the EIC.
B0 photon detector

Quan has put a disk of PbW04 within B0 in Fun4All. It looks nice and works with the new coordinate system. Now he will start to study the performance for low energy photons.
