[RBRC seminar] GTMD studies at small x

by Daniel Boer (University of Groningen)

Description
Generalized transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (GTMDs) are off-forward extensions of TMDs that by Fourier transformation are related to Wigner parton distributions. These multi-dimensional distributions are hard to access in experiment, but several suggestions to probe gluon GTMDs have been put forward. These processes include exclusive diffractive dijet production in electron-proton collisions and UPCs in pp and pA collisions. A small-x MV-like model for the dipole gluon GTMD will be discussed and applied to H1 data to constrain the parameters of the model. In this way predictions for the EIC are obtained. Odderon GTMDs and their phenomenology will also be discussed for unpolarized as well as polarized pp and pA collisions.
