In addition to the uploaded presentation materials, the following QA and discussion was noted:

Fabric

• STAR mock data challenge working flawlessly as expectged
• Followup what is the limitation?
• observed STAR slowdown of HTC Farm again
• upgrading openafs version may help mitigate the issue
• moving away from afs in the future and using cvmfs is encouraged

General Services

• updated docs for Thunderbird tunnel to mail server with SOCKS proxy

AOB

• RHIC shifts begin 11/9 and plan to first collect cosmic data
• RHIC full production run should begin approximately 12/1
• Will is leaving BNL farewell and thanks for your service
