Description

Hadron scattering information can be accessed indirectly from lattice QCD by computing the spectrum of multi-hadron states and connecting to the infinite volume amplitudes via quantization conditions. This methodology was applied successfully for the two-hadron case to extract phase-shifts and resonance parameters. Only recently this methodology was extended to the three-hadron sector: both lattice QCD calculations and developing quantization conditions is more challenging in this sector. I will present our results for the three pion and three kaon sector. In the maximal isospin sector, where we have access to most lattice data, we find that the results are compatible with expectations in these sectors and that the influence of the three-body force terms is small but can be constrained using lattice QCD data. I will also present results in the I=1 sector and discuss how these constrain the pole position for the a_1(1260) resonance. The presentation is based on results reported in arxiv:1911.09047, 2009.12358, 2101.06144, 2107.03973, and 2112.03355.
