The non-standard electron beampipe shape is holding off the full ACTS reconstruction. The new cylindrical geometry will be available in ACTS soon, then Sakib and Wouter can work on corresponding tests/validations.

Yue-Shi implemented the realistic seeding with ACTS v13. Wenqing tested its performance with single pion. The resolution looks reasonable except at the low momentum region and the very forward/backward region.

For now the material map is generated manually for each detector version. The possibility of optimizing material map binning automatically via machine learning was mentioned. Another useful feature for ACTS to enable a pre-defined volume boundary for mapping. That requires pre-defining ACTS volume with DD4hep instead of having ACTS navigation handle it automatically.
