- Indico Weeks View
We will record and publish this meeting on wiki for anyone who is interested but can't join. We may be able to move to a different time for future weekly meetings if we get requests, so please let us know.
The goal of the first meeting is primarily to review the available workforce, based on people who plan to contribute. Some we already know, some we don’t. If you want/plan to contribute and did not get a separate mail from us by Tuesday, please contact us by mail.
We will review and briefly discuss the main Cherenkov-based PID technology options and the currently ongoing work. A more detailed review of the PID systems from the proposal, the constraints that led to the technology decisions, and what the remaining work is, will happen in the second meeting. The main idea is to find the best and most efficient path moving forward and benefit from all the hard work that already happened.
We are looking forward to bringing everybody back together to deliver the best PID system for EIC and are excited to welcome anyone who wants to join us!
