Experimental Computing:

  • Federated ID/ Jupyter: Discussions with GUV center for policies/exemptions and next to meet with Bob Tribble
  • ElasticSearch paid version discussion. Next check for platform for analytics plugin for Federated ID login

 

IT Fabric:

  • sPHENIX Tape library - sPHENIX testing - update HPSS version
  • AI/ML group - Lustre based access in HPSS
  • JBOD purchase - server delivery is delayed till Aug
     

IT Services:

  • RHEV upgrade - downtime in Jun for SDCC and NSLS II
  • Lustre -  dedicated monitoring instances setup
  • US ATLAS  Drupal site  from bnl.gov to www.usatlas.org
  • NX - Smart card access issues - trouble report has been opened
  • Federated account authentication for Mattermost channels - invite users by email option has been removed for security reasons
  • sPHENIX - VOMs identifier -Panda harvester - job submission may switch to tokens-fake voms proxy to submit harvester

 

Tools and Services:

  • Endit monitoring scripts/services deployed in pool hosts
  • Database setup for NSLS II user
