In addition to the uploaded presentation materials, the following QA/discussion was noted:

Facility News

  • plan to upgrade Indico v2.3 -> 3.x
  • indico3.bnl.gov
  • late August to September timeline
  • requires a multi-hour (~4 hrs) downtime
  • please inform SDCC if we need to avoid any date(s)
  • InCommon capable
  • possible to request SDCC account if institution is not yet supported
  • migrating all historical content
  • reminders and details will follow in the coming weeks

Network

  • 7/27/22 RHIC 10G Arista 7500E Farm switch failure incident (out of support)
  • ~1 year to EOL for this compute if switch issues persist SDCC/ITD will take more effort to mitigate risk

Experimental Computing

  • InvenioRDM role in SDCC  TBD (long term development project)

General Services

  • MediaWiki:  works with SDCC key cloak login and sPHENIX automatic group assignment
  • should be ready to migrate from ITD to SDCC next week
  • currently ITD manages wiki.bnl.gov and group manage their content
