Experimental Computing

  • CrowdStrike will replace ORDO, ETA ~3/2023, concerns about delaying past start of the run
  • CrowdStrike already deployed by NSLS/ITD

 

IT Fabric

  • ~30 minute HPSS maintenance required ETA 2/2023

 

IT Services

  • CVMFS kernel panic issue sPHENIX cleaned up 4K files

 

Tools and Services

  • upcoming new VMs for PanDA DB may replace existing VMs

 

Any Other Business:

  • overlap of PHENIX/sPHENIX, but we will maintain 2 groups no plan to merge user accounts
