      Remaining simulation task discussions 30m
      1. Background embedding for pattern recognition studies: currently working on mixing the backgrounds with signals, a taskforce team has been formed to carry out the work, need the tracking reconstruction software to be ready. Rey, Ben, Koljia are leading the efforts.

      2. Forward/backward track finding and optimization, consider to add MPGD disks in the endcap region and evaluate the track performance. Tracking seeding are different between the central and endcap regions. The endcap tracking finding is limited by the 3 maximum hits. Consider to further separate the forward and backward region for hit filting.

      3. Multiple hit issues in the current tracking finding, will implement the clusterization and apply the rz projection cut. Use the clusterization to handle multiple hits from the same trajectory.

      4. Alternative track finding algorithm beside ACTS, which is under tuning. E.g, Hough transfer + Kalman filter. Ernst start to look into the Hough transfer and in touch with Joe. Will not switch to a different tracking algorithm in the next simulation camping.

      5. MPGD geometry optimization. Will report next week.
