In this talk I will summarize the methodological aspects of the latest global fit by the NNPDF collaboration: NNPDF4.0. I will focus on the challenges that arise from analyzing large amounts of very precise data and complex predictions as well as on the tests and validation checks that are performed in order to study the reliability of the results.
