Minutes of the April 4th Meeting: 1. Attendance: 4. Bill, Jackson, Peter, Niv. The topic of discussion: a. DVCS generator. b. eA observable on u-Channel meson production. c. eA diffractive study. Topic a: Niv had some questions on the difference between ePIC generators vs others (Milou3 as an example). It is worth pointing out that the ePIC generator is based directly based in the PARTON framework (theoretical framework on GPD parameterization based on measurements from JLab and HERMES). In addition, ePIC is capable of producing TCS and DDVCS cross-sections. One of the Authors of ePIC (Paweł Sznajder) and initiator of the PARTON framework will be the host of EICUG 2023, Niv will gain significant insight if she intends to attend the event in person. Topic b: Bill outlined the recent development of the u-Channel exclusive production front related to the generator. Currently, two choices, DEM (evolved from the JLab community), and eSTARLight. Cross-validating these generator outputs is a necessary step, Zack from UC-Davis is working on this front. Furthermore, a Letter of Intent will be submitted to JLab PAC 51 for comments, this is the measurement of probing the onset of the Color transparency with ep and eA target. This is directly relevant to the EIC far forward detection work, and the progress and feedback will be reported in future meetings. Topic c: Peter expressed a strong interest in pursuing the publication of the e-Pb diffractive J/Psi production study during the proposal era. He outlines the consistence of the tracking in the hadron direction. Overall, the summary of this study should shield light on the future of similar studies therefore should be published ASAP.
