Fernando Serna (University of Sucre), Light-Cone Distribution Amplitudes from Bethe-Salpeter Wave Functions

US/Eastern
Description

Hadronic light-cone distribution amplitudes are nonperturbative and scale-dependent functions that can be understood as the closest relative of quantum mechanical wave functions in quantum field theory. These quantities enter in a numerous of hard exclusive scattering processes. For instance, the pion electromagnetic and transition form factors. In this seminar, I will explain how using a functional nonperturbative approach to the gap and bound-state equations we can obtain light-cone distribution amplitudes of pseudoscalar and vector mesons.
