Subject:	[EXTERNAL] Request of R&D status report

Dear All, 
 
in our response letters as well as in the R&D contracts it is emphasized that all ongoing R&D projects 
should report about their status on a regular basis. While we had typically two meetings in the generic 
program to review the progress you made, we have only one meeting a year in the project R&D 
program. 
 
Given that we are steadily moving towards CD-2 and CD-3 and that progress is linked to the overall 
project cost & schedule tool P6, it becomes necessary to have more frequent reports. 
 
We therefore kindly request a written status report from each of the 
following R&D projects: 
eRD102, eRD103, eRD104, eRD106, eRD107, eRD108, eRD109, eRD110, eRD111, 
eRD112, eRD113, eRD115 
 
The report should clearly indicate where you stand with respect to your milestones. Please also describe 
the activities in the participating institutions. The report does not have to be detailed and should not 
exceed two (2) pages. You can use a third overflow page as absolutely needed, there is no need to spend 
extra time to fit in two pages. Keep it short and to the point. 

The deadline for the short report is Thursday February 29, 2024. 
 
Let me also remind you of the Detector R&D day, discussed in Elke/Rolf's talk at the ePIC collaboration 
meeting last week (page 9). The date is not fixed but will be presumably around March.
