SIDIS WG meeting

US/Eastern
  • Updates on the TDR plots were discussed: Two 1D impact plots will be added for the unpolarized TMD PDF of pi+
  • Perspectives and potential studies for the early science phase (low luminosity, limited energy configurations, no polarisation) were discussed: Nuclear (and Proton) PDFs and FFs may be the most promissing observbales in this phase. Probbaly mostly integrated plots (evolution etc.).
  • Ralf presented a study on the kienmatic dependence of the PID purity based on the new lookup tables. --> Storing only one PID variable, which is overwritten for the single detectors is not optimal for our case.
