Description

Modern machine learning and generative AI are impacting fundamental physics in exciting and far-reaching ways, allowing us to see deeper into big datasets and enabling new kinds of analyses that were not possible before. I will describe how we are using generative AI to develop powerful new model-agnostic methods for BSM searches which are now being realized in actual ATLAS and CMS analyses. I will then show how the same methods can also be ported to a completely different setting, to search for stellar streams in data from the Gaia Space Telescope.
