Test beam update:

Prototype update:
- John H.: started taking tiles out of prototype
- Eric: got quote for SiPMs: $28 per item if buying 100-299. We said we’d buy 120.
- Oleg E.: will provide account number to Eric
- Norbert:
- requested quote for pigtail cables (reading out SiPM boards): up to 10 m long
- one electronics set should be available to ship/bring to BNL, will double check (there should be 6, Carlos needs 4 for test beam in November, 1 needed by Norbert at ORNL, 1 should be available, plus: more chips coming, so another set can be assembled)
- Norbert offered to come to BNL in October; Martin said after the meeting that should work: ACTION ITEM: Norbert, Martin, Eric agree on date
- need info on SiPM board (circuit diagram): ACTION ITEM: Norbert will email Steve Boose
TDR planning:
- Stefan looked at Derek’s captions, and they are great: very detailed and clear descriptions with references
Simulation status and plans:
- Derek: showed slide with updated status (see agenda)
- some open items for software development: opportunities for others to jump in
- Derek:
- discussion with John Lajoie
- showed slides with jet studies from ECCE proposal (see agenda), which will be useful for pTDR
- ACTION ITEM: will put plots in pTDR as placeholders
- plan is to repeat those studies with ePIC simulation since material in front of HCal has changed
