Begin forwarded message: From: Matthew Posik <posik@temple.edu> Subject: EXT: Angular Resolution Workfest contribution Date: December 11, 2024 at 10:06:29 AM EST To: "zxu22@kent.edu" <zxu22@kent.edu>, "syano@hiroshima-u.ac.jp" <syano@hiroshima-u.ac.jp> Hi Zhangbu and Satoshi, As you may know we are planning on holding an angular resolution session at the upcoming ePIC collaboration meeting in January. The session is scheduled for Thursday Jan. 23rd 9:00-13:00 Rome time. The goal of this session is to assess what has been done in estimating the angular resolutions of tracks entering the PID detectors and define a plan on how to converge on final set of values. Given your DSC's activity in assessing the angular resolutions via fitting hits in the outer tracking sensitive layers, I would like to invite your DSC to present a contribution during this session. The time slot for the contribution is 20 mins and should cover the technical details of how the angular resolutions are estimated and what their results are. There will be plenty of time in the session for questions and discussions. I will leave it to you to decide who from your DSC would be best to present this contribution. Please let me know if you are able to accept this invitation. Thanks, Matt Matt Posik Research Associate Professor
