Minutes

  1. Updates / Announcements:
    1. The BIC General meeting was held on February 14, and several presentations were delivered: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/26317/
    2. A BIC workshop is planned at ANL for April 9-11.  Please watch the emails on this.
  2. The minutes of the February 4, 2025 meeting have been posted: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/26320/
  3. Shinhyung presented updates from the Korean team: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/26591/ This included progress in building PbSciFi blocks, light guide transmission measurements.
  4. AOB:
    1. Maria: Irradiation was discussed briefly: UCDavis is working on the data analysis.  10-91 MeV neutrons.
    2. Wouter: what is the vendor strategy for light guides?  Zisis replied that for now and PED a company in Regina will make 120 LGs.  Communication between Regina and Korean should take place to share plans and minimize unnecessary duplication of efforts.
    3. Maria has carried out literature searches connected to light guides, etc.  She also asked that Aram communicates with Korean on the SiPM readout board.
    4. Maria mentioned that the test article fibers will be shipped soon from ANL to Regina.
    5. Communications with Norbert should be resumed on interfacing SiPMs to CALOROC.
  5. The next meeting will be on March 4. Presentations and updates are encouraged.
