DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Rocco Amorosso (SBU)\n\nIn this talk\, I will presen
t recent work on computing flux tube entanglement entropy (FTE2)\, the fin
ite entanglement entropy attributable to the flux tube\, in 1+1D and 2+1D
SU(N) Yang-Mills theories. I will review analytical results in 1+1D and sh
ow numerical results from lattice simulations in 2+1D. These results will
be compared to expectations from effective string models\, highlighting po
ints of agreement and notable deviations. I will explore how FTE2 depends
on the representation of static charges\, the effective and intrinsic widt
h of the flux tube\, temperature\, and the number of colors Nc. I will als
o discuss preliminary results from ongoing lattice studies and their impli
cations for the quantum structure of the flux tube\, as well as future dir
 ections.\n\nhttps://indico.bnl.gov/event/27184/
