      Minutes

      1. Updates / Announcements:
        1. A BIC in-person workshop is planned at ANL for April 9-11.
        2. TIC meeting yesterday: Sylvia summarized all cooling requirements submitted by the various groups.
      2. Minutes: The March 18 minutes were reviewed: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/27092/.
      3. Action Items: Maria asked about documents will be shared.  Sylvester replied that the Argonne Box will be used.
      4. Presentations:
        1. Cooling
          1. Shefali presented slides showing calculations and simulations done by her and Wouter.  The results are encouraging on having the AstroPix heat load carried via conduction through the PbScFi to the back (outer) aluminum plates.  Sylvester commented that those will be cooled with water at room temperature. Shefali will present their findings at the BIC workshop next week.
        2. Fiber testing
          1. Akshaya showed the SiPM setup and fiber test at Manitoba.  There are still issues in being able to the the p.e. peaks.  Aram and Zisis will connect to offer suggestions.  Maria will likely call the System Testing Meeting on April 8 next week, ahead of the BIC workshop.
      5. AOB:
        1. Wouter asked about the UV filters to protect the fibers.  He will order some as the lighting in his lab cannot be converted to LED easily.
        2. The fiber manual written by Tegan is meant to be a how-to guide.  Maria reminded us that we could work on a NIM paper that has light guide simulations and tests (collaboration with Korea could take place on LG transmission studies), and show the effect of LG choice on Energy resolution and its constant term.
        3. Tom and Zisis discussed the Mayan pyramid for construction and Wouter asked about the thickness of the machined carbon-fiber tray walls, that you impact heat conduction.  Wouter will provide a min limit for the thickness.
      6. The next meeting could be on April 15, unless there will be not much to report following the BIC workshop. Presentations and updates are always encouraged.
