DESCRIPTION:Rare kaon decays are among our most sensitive probes of high-e
 nergy dynamics in the standard model and beyond. Recent theoretical effort
 s focused on direct and indirect CP violation in the neutral kaon system. 
 After a general introduction to the topic\, I will present some updates on
  predicting two of the most exciting observables\, namely\, $\\epsilon_K$
