DESCRIPTION:Many dark matter models predict small-scale substructure\, inc
 luding subhaloes\, boson stars\, miniclusters\, and primordial black holes
 . In this talk\, I will discuss how gravitational microlensing can serve a
 s a powerful probe of these scenarios. I will describe the characteristic 
 signals observed in experiments and highlight how certain mass distributio
 ns—such as those associated with boson stars—produce distinctive light
  curve features due to optical effects like caustics. Finally\, I will exp
 lore opportunities for detecting these microlensing signatures using machi
 ne learning techniques\, including real-time anomaly detection on time-ser
