The future electron-positron circular collider (FCC-ee) stands out as the next flagship project in particle physics. In this talk, I will explore the BSM potential of the Tera-Z program, both within the EFT framework and in the context of motivated models such as the MSSM. I will further highlight the complementarity between runs at the Z pole and at higher energies, emphasizing the crucial role of the latter in probing BSM scenarios. The discussion will be primarily based on the works [2411.02485] and [2507.03073].
