I've analysed again the production campaign 26.03.0 and for CyMBaL I put together the expected rates in attachment: the rates are integrated per SALSA chip. We still need to adapt it for the 48 module geometry. As well, we need still to incorporate properly the estimation of the cluster size. Since I do not know with enough precision the readout scheme for the other MPGD systems, I cannot do the same exercise for your subsystems. Instead, I run my simple macro to extract ntuples that you might want to play with https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__filesender.renater.fr_-3Fs-3Ddownload-26token- 3Ddab4d695-2D15ab-2D4037-2Da170- 2D9f117bb1fc70&d=DwIDaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=8RkWGK8Ehr23aQ4XZaeJkKhdeUjRK7rjlS 9Ivaen0wM&m=Y7q6TGrpN3CZVybrL_xKeFem6VuRdnI1VEhAa6MrnbjJdJe9xTzFCYiRfd6f5zxI&s=VW_ITIA k0rs18v__0YpYUInpFnzIezrVIc4k9EDJie0&e= the ntuple contains : - the position of the reconstructed hit: x,y,z,r,phi - the module number : mod - the energy deposited value stored in the reconstructed hit: edeprec (but this I need to understand what it actually means) - the energy deposited by Geant4 in the SimHit: edepmc - the PDG code of the MC particle that created the hit: pdg - the status code of the MC particle [1 for DIS , 2001 for SR, bigger for other backgrounds (beam gas, brem...)] : status - the vertex and the momentum of the MC particle this ntuple might help you in producing similar estimates for the rates per SALSA chip ciao Francesco
