Technical meeting dealing with SFILs into HGCROC

Attendees: Henry, Bo Gyeong, Shinhyung, Norbert, Maria, JeongSu, Bobae, Zisis

Report: Henry showed slides with the setup and pulses on the scope from the SFIL, using a single SiPM channel, triggered by two paddle counters vewing cosmics through PMTs. The SiPM signal on the scope is positive, about 50 mV tall, but very wide (>100 ns) and very jagged. Waveform into HGCROC has unusual features: a dip before the peak and a risetime >150 ns.

We discussed sources of noise, connectors, cables, and generally the ouput of the 'edited' SFIL board (trace to ground severed to deliver current instead of voltage and a positive SIPM pulse) and input to HGCROC.

Action Items:

1) Henry will systematically study the pedestal, by turning/activating each component of the pathway.

2) Zisis will discuss today's meeting with Aram and return with comments.

3) Maria will create a new Google drive location for us to use a repository of board designs, etc.
