Description

In this week’s ePIC Software & Computing meeting, we will follow up on the status and plans for the Echelon 2 sites. Along with the Echelon 1 sites at BNL and JLab, these sites will provide global processing and storage for ePIC. As highlighted in our Streaming Computing Model report, Echelon 2 resources will accelerate computing use cases such as reconstruction and simulation, and will support a distributed model that allows us to shift resources flexibly to where they are most needed.
