INTT Weekly meeting

US/Eastern

[Itaru: Government shutdown]
- We expect some announcement from lab in mid November.
- SDCC will be shut down also, no email service either.
-- We might need to transfer data to somewhere else in case that happens.

There are minutes attached to this event. Show them.

      INTT chip saturation issue 20m
Speaker: Shan-Yu Chen (National Central University)

      [Shan-Yu: INTT chip saturation issue]
      - Number of hit 68 is in a given chip.
      - This is different issue from the event saturation issue.
-- But it is nice to check chip activity on the event right after the event saturation happen.
      - Is the chip capable of processing 128 hits at the same time with the sPHENIX BCO frequency?
-- It is hard to debug in the calibration mode because require modification of FPGA to be such frequency.

Missing acceptance issue & BCO QA 20m
      Speaker: Jaein Hwang (Korea University)

[Jaein: Missing acceptance issue & BCO QA]
      - Adding the statement in the decoder is slowing process?
-- A little bit, but the processing time is much faster than the other system.
      - Information of the num of BCO sent from GTM to each Felix server is kept in the GL1 data
-- Why does each Felix has the different number of BCOs from the GTM to the server?
-- Because each server has different event size, although the combining process stop at the same file size limit.
      - A very tiny number of missing packet happens for all servers, but it is negligible and acceptable.
      - No need to push Raul/Martin to look into the issue. The offline fix is already good enough.
      - Compile the information about the issues into the wiki page.
