Description
In this talk, we show how to establish the exponential decay of space-like correlators in external single-particle states in the forward limit, that are commonly used in lattice parton calculations. 
We provide three proofs for the exponential decay assuming the existence of a spectral gap, under increasing but moderate conditions, and with stronger conclusions. Locality is crucial in our discussions. We also comment on other aspects of the large-distance behavior of these correlators.
