  • Contacted Luxium for a quote; currently awaiting a response.
Occupancy and Hit Rates — Ravi Koka
  • Used DIS events from the 2026.02 campaign to estimate detector occupancy and hit rates.
  • A preliminary estimate (10x275) indicates a maximum hit rate of about 7 Hz.
  • Observed unusual features in the hit φ vs. η distributions.
  • Plans to contact the simulation group to investigate these features.
Calibration — Jan
  • Calibration using protons.
  • Studying protons; observed behavior very different from neutrons below 2 GeV.
  • Further investigation planned, including comparisons with charged pions.
  • Mayb connect with Antonio de Silva, who is conducting a similar study for sPHENIX.
