Frontier LLMs have transformed from text generators into programmable agents, opening a new paradigm for scientific computing. I’ll present HEPTAPOD, an agentic toolkit designed to interface LLMs with HEP pipelines. I'll illustrate the framework on a selection of standard phenomenology workflows. To close, I'll turn to a broader discussion of agentic programming, the range of applicability of LLM agents in HEP, and the road towards autonomous agency.
