• Set up repo on GitHub to host PF benchmarks during development
• Esteban will work on PFA3 benchmarks

 

Discussion

• Can we start at an earlier time?
  • Yes, will move following meetings to 11 AM ET
  • Note that Simulation/Production meetings are from 10 AM - 11 AM ET
• What should we benchmark: memory usage, performance, etc?
  • Focus is more on physics quantities (e.g. cluster energies)
  • We do have benchmark to check memory profile, runtime, etc. for simulation campaigns. But not in the CI.
  • Can use janatop EICrecon plugin to list "worst offending" factories in terms of throughput
• What's the deadline for the 26.04.0 campaign?
  • Changes due by 1st Monday in April (04.06), but should aim to get changes merged by preceding week (03.30) to give time for testing.
• What datasets should we use?
  • For testing, can use simulation campaign output (currently hosted at JLab).
  • Single particle & DIS will be primary datasets
