DESCRIPTION:ePIC is being designed in an era where heterogeneous computing
  is central to modern scientific workflows. As a result\, heterogeneous ar
 chitectures are a fundamental part of the ePIC computing model.\nThis work
 shop series aims to define a coherent approach to heterogeneous computing 
 within ePIC. The first session will establish the scope and motivation\, f
 ollowed by perspectives from WLCG\, DUNE\, and JANA2.\nContributions from 
 Geant4\, EIC-Opticks\, and QuantOm will showcase concrete developments and
  use cases for simulation and analysis.\nThe workshop will be held remotel
