DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dana Avramescu (Jyvaskyla U.)\n\nThis seminar presen
ts a quantum formalism for the real-time evolution of jets in the Glasma\,
the strong classical color fields formed in the early stages of heavy-ion
collisions. Classical transport studies based on Wong's equations coupled
to real-time lattice simulations have shown that these fields induce siza
ble momentum broadening for both jets and heavy quarks\, motivating a full
y quantum treatment. The first part addresses the foundations of this appr
oach\, focusing on gauge invariance in the definition of the momentum of a
particle in a classical non-Abelian background field. The correspondence
between Wong's equations and the Heisenberg equations of motion is establi
shed\, showing that the kinetic momentum broadening receives non-trivial c
ontributions from the transverse field components\, even in the eikonal li
mit. The second part presents its realization within the time-dependent Ba
 sis Light-Front Quantization (tBLFQ) framework\, where a high-energy quark
evolves in the Glasma fields treated as a time-dependent external potenti
al. The extracted transverse momentum broadening and jet quenching paramet
er agree with classical estimates\, including the expected scaling with th
e saturation momentum. This approach will be extended to consider non-eiko
nal propagation and gluon emissions in the Glasma.\nReferences: https://ar
