Technical review:  Detector advisory committee 10/28-30 We-Fr  one talk each for each of subsystems, completely technical, performance, plans, production, nothing cost and schedule, BHCal talk Th afternoon or Friday morning, DSLs give presentation. Calorimetery reviewers will be Stefano Miscetti and Roman Poeschl. Both are continuing from previous years.

Churamani:  

  • show individual distributions to show where resolution points come from
  • Write short note with exactly what you did

 

Jan:

  • Switched from hits to clusters
  • Significant improvement:  cutting off the low-side tail leading to a sharper peak
  • Request:  don’t normalize
  • Request:  document in note

 

Why difference in uncalibrated energy: 100 % (Churamani) vs 50 % (Jan) at 1 GeV.

 

Cable test:  reflections:  need TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometer) measurement; can be mitigated by adjusting impedance
