[RBRC seminar] Progress on the Systematic Evaluation of Integrals in Particle Physics

Calculations in high-energy particle physics have grown steadily more challenging over the years, in large part due to the increasingly complicated intermediate integrals of various kinds that must be evaluated. For example, the ability to evaluate Feynman integrals is widely regarded as a central bottleneck in modern scattering amplitudes computations. In this talk, I will review a recently developed publicly available Mathematica package, SubTropica, which automates the evaluation of an infinitely large class of integrals reducing to (multiple) polylogarithms, making it a powerful tool for scattering amplitude computations. Among other applications, I will also illustrate how this package can now be used to perform all the integrals needed to derive the NNLO (3-loops) small-x evolution equation in planar QCD from minimal user input.
