DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jan Ferdyan (Jagiellonian University)\n\nWe study th
 e Drell-Yan structure functions within the kT-factorization framework\, wi
th particular emphasis on the Lam-Tung combination\, which is known to be
sensitive to the transverse momentum of the initial-state partons. We cons
ider the two dominant tree-level scattering channels involving gluons: the
scattering of two off-shell gluons and the scattering of a valence quark
with an off-shell gluon. Within this approach\, we probe various gluon tra
nsverse momentum distribution (TMD) models and compare theoretical predict
ions with ATLAS measurements. We find that the Drell-Yan structure functio
ns are sensitive to the choice of gluon TMD model\, and in particular\, th
at a reasonably good description of the Lam-Tung combination can be achiev
ed within this formalism for some of the considered TMD models.\n\nhttps:/
