Description

Generalised transverse-momentum distributions (GTMDs) provide the most complete leading-twist description of the partonic structure of hadrons, reducing to generalised parton distributions (GPDs) and transverse-momentum distributions (TMDs) in the appropriate kinematic limits. Since a direct extraction of GTMDs from experimental data is currently out of reach, it is important to establish how they can be faithfully reconstructed from these better-known limits. In this seminar, starting from the operator definition of GTMDs, I will present the computation of the one-loop matching functions which relate GTMDs to GPDs, also discussing their peculiar evolution pattern. I will then discuss how incorporating information from TMDs can complement this GPD-based picture and lead to an accurate reconstruction of GTMDs.
