DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Modular flavor symmetries offer an attractive framew
ork for addressing the flavor puzzle. In this framework\, Yukawa couplings
  are modular forms\, i.e. functions of a single complex modulus\, rather t
han free parameters. In this talk\, I will show how fermion mass hierarchi
es arise naturally in this framework. I will also present invariants built
from neutrino observables that are independent of the modulus and essenti
ally immune to renormalization group corrections. These invariants lead to
robust predictions that can be tested directly by experiments.\n \nhttps
