DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mahumm Ghaffar (Memorial U.)\n\nWe perform detailed
calculations of electroweak radiative corrections to parity violating elec
tron scattering with a proton target up to quadratic and reducible two-loo
p level using a covariant approach. Our numerical results are presented at
energies relevant for a variety of existing and proposed experimental pro
grams such as $Q_{\\text{weak}}$\, P2 and experiments at the Electron-Ion
Collider. Analysis shows that such corrections at the next-to-next-to-lead
ing order are quite significant and have to be included in searches of phy
sics beyond the standard model\, matching the increasing precision of the
future experimental programs at low-energy scales. We have developed vario
us computational techniques in this work which have been checked with the
higher-order QED corrections in $A_{PV}$. Our analytical and programming r
outines show considerable promise for extension and applications toward th
e experiments which are searching for physics beyond the Standard Model. I
n the next phase\, we plan to refine this analysis by incorporating more s
ophisticated models of hadronic couplings to vector bosons. This will incl
ude updated parametrizations of nucleon form factors\, accounting for devi
ations from the dipole form reported in recent studies. In the future\, we
would also like to further extend this work by considering a polarized pr
oton target in the case of both elastic and inelastic scattering scenarios
. This will be achieved by calculating a polarized hadronic tensor at high
 er momentum transfer.\n\nhttps://indico.bnl.gov/event/34237/
