Description

We are hosting the 18th ePIC Physics, Software, and Computing Discussion:

The discussion will focus on Analysis Tools and Workflows for ePIC, in preparation for the Physics Analysis Readiness workshop on December 1–3. We will initiate a collaboration-wide discussion on how physics analyses are performed in ePIC, focusing on three questions:

  • Workflow: What are the main steps in your analysis, from input data to physics results?

  • Tools: What tools do you use today, and what works well?

  • Pain points: What are the main challenges, bottlenecks, or missing capabilities?

The goal of this discussion is to understand current analysis practices and experiences.  The input collected during this discussion will help shape the agenda for the Physics Analysis Readiness workshop and inform a collaboration-wide survey on analysis workflows and tools.

We also welcome suggestions for topics to discuss at future meetings. Please submit them using this form: https://forms.gle/gSRwmELU3PxCMqZf7

We will use Zoom for the remote meeting:
