Ofer Rind - Phenix Dcache Upgrade - new servers with SL6 for now, probably will be tested with SL7 later Testing SQL, configuration, database copy over. Probably scheduled for end of February? 2. David Yu - HPSS - tape drive configuration Jerome Lauret for STAR - Counting house data transfer to HPSS, NDC Data taking in March. 3. Chris Hollowell - RACF Linux Farm - New servers arrived last week. Q/A procedures going on RHIC and ATLAS this week. Testing SL6 servers for Dcache upgrade. Patched interactive nodes for Meltdown/Spectre issues. For STAR systems, which was recently upgraded to SL7,there are AFS related patch problems, cache inconsistency with STAR group compilation coding. 4.Shigeki Misawa/Tony Wong - Changes to Liaison Meetings – See slides posted on agenda CSI Developments/Future Clusters 5. Alexandr Zaytsev - RACF/SDCC Network Operations – See slides posted on agenda RHIC Migration, Dcache Migration 6. Costin Caramarcu - Status of the CSI Clusters – See slides posted on agenda Firmware update done, vendors were onsite. Nodes stable as of Thursday afternoon. Microcode patches. IC and KNL Hackathons coming up. 7. Tom Throwe - Status of Jupyter notebook – See slides posted on agenda Currently being used with Python. Installed Anaconda environment. Stuart Campbell stated Jupyter is also used at NSLS II - beamlines using Jupyter, share notebooks, Anaconda environment, coding. Used for training. Besides Slurm interface, others indicated a HTCondor interface would be useful. 8. General Services - Jason Smith, Tejas Rao, Saroj Kandasamy - RHEV VM upgrades will be scheduled for Meltdown/Spectre issues. Affects AFS for RHEL7 systems. Gateways/NX servers to also be scheduled for upgrades. 9. John Hover - BNL Cloud - Status and future plans – See slides posted on agenda Small scale projects, Can interact with Jupyter front-end. Mark Hybertsen indicated stronger interest if BNL Cloud is configured with a shared file system.
