phase out lsstnfs2 and lsstmgr1 (farm subnet 184)

RE-ip and virtualization of xrdstar0[1,2] (farm subnets 204/206)

retiring Brahms compute node rcas0006 (subnet 6)

retiring legacy PHENIX dCache DTN node phnxdoor03

PHENIX central DB and dCache move from 4-9 to 45-6: phnxdbrcf[1,2,4,5,7] and phnxcore0[3,4]

 

Storage Group

XRootD STAR appliance is ready and should be cut in to production transparent to users

 

HPSS status

Monday 7/30 HPSS had a service interruption (2 hours down)

PHENIX tapes have been delivered to BNL

 

General Services

8/20 user home directories will cut over from BlueArc to GPFS behind maintenance window

 

RACF Linux Farm

Power Intervention is nearly done nodes were drained according to schedule and transparent to users

8/20 TOR migration and re-IP behind maintenance window

 

CSI resources

IC-cluster expansion will add 54 nodes in 3 racks early phase of procurement has begun
