Network Operations

Storage Group

  • 2PB additional RHIC central storage is in FY 2019 budget ETA is soon (late ‘18)

 

HPSS status

  • PHENIX downtime completed, completing extra SL8500 to frame in CDCE (+10K slots)

  • migration of LT05 data over next quarter, moving ~10K tapes

  • migration effort won’t be disruptive and is necessary to minimize downtime of CFR (5/19)

 

General Services

  • plan to update the roundcube webmail next week and offer option 2FA app
