2013 USQCD All-Hands Collaboration Meeting

US/Eastern
Large Seminar Room (Physics Building)

Large Seminar Room

Building 510
Description

USQCD is a collaboration of US scientists developing and using large-scale computers for calculations in lattice quantum chromodynamics.  Lattice QCD calculations allow us to understand the results of particle and nuclear physics experiments in terms of QCD, the theory of quarks and gluons.

Those interested in joining the collaboration should contact Paul Mackenzie at mackenzie@fnal.gov.

Local Organizing Committee

  • Frithjof Karsch (BNL)
  • Peter Petreczky (BNL)
  • Taku Izubuchi (BNL)

Special Evening Event

Registered attendees and their guests are invited to attend the optional banquet dinner after the meeting on Friday, April 19, 2013 6:30-8:30 PM at Berkner Hall.  The fee for the banquet will have a nominal cost of US $25/pp and will be collected at check-in. This does not include drinks (cash bar).
