Effective today, Thursday January 30, the SBN Far Detector Building is posted as ODH-0 at the grade level and ODH-1 below grade in preparation for cryogenics operations.  Personnel accessing the mezzanine, warm vessel top and pit level must have valid ODH training/medical exam, carry a personal oxygen monitor and must work in groups of 2 or more. Personal oxygen monitors are available at the entry to the West stairwell.  Escape packs are to be carried when working on top of the warm vessel or when in a lift. Escape packs are available on the mezzanine adjacent to the stairs to the top of the warm vessel. The SBN FD building access training has been updated to reflect these new restrictions which will stay in place for the duration of the operation of the ICARUS experiment.   

Access to all levels of the building will be restricted to essential personnel only during the liquid argon fill process. The fill is expected to start around February 21 and last for 8-10 weeks.  More detail will made available in advance of the fill start.
